Welcome to trovebysgd.com (the “Site”), operated by TROVE by SGD (“TROVE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting our Site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You may not use our products or the Site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, and you must not violate any laws applicable to you in using the Service.

2. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. Certain content you provide to us may be transmitted unencrypted; payment information is always encrypted using industry standard security through our payment provider.

3. Accuracy of Information

We are not responsible if information available on the Site is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Product descriptions, condition notes and pricing are provided in good faith; as we deal in new and preloved pieces, we encourage you to message us on WhatsApp with any question before you buy.

4. Products and Pricing

Some pieces, typically higher value bags, are listed for enquiry only (“Price on Request”) and are not available for direct online purchase; accessories and select pieces can be purchased directly through the Site. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any item, and change prices at any time. Prices can be displayed in Singapore Dollars (SGD), US Dollars (USD) or UAE Dirhams (AED) for reference, but all payments are processed and settled in SGD.

5. Authenticity Guarantee

Every item sold by TROVE by SGD is authenticated in house before it is listed, and we guarantee it is authentic. If an item you purchased from us is proven not to be authentic, we will refund the full purchase price you paid to TROVE, subject to the following conditions:

  • Your claim is made within 12 months of the date of purchase, with your proof of purchase from TROVE.
  • The claim is supported by a written report from an independent, recognised professional authentication service confirming that the item is not authentic. TROVE may arrange its own independent review before a claim is accepted.
  • The item is returned to us in the same condition as when it was sold, together with all inclusions that came with it (such as box, dust bag, receipt and accessories).
  • The item matches TROVE’s records for that sale, including the photographs, date stamp and identifying details we record before every sale.

Shipping, duties and any third party authentication fees are not covered. This guarantee does not affect any rights you have under Singapore law. To make a claim, contact us on WhatsApp or at trovebysgd@gmail.com.

6. Consignment and Buy Back

Terms specific to consigning a piece with us, or to a buy back, are confirmed with you individually on WhatsApp before we accept an item; see our Consign page for how the process works.

7. Billing and Account Information

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information when placing an order or creating an account. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we suspect fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction.

8. Third Party Links

Our Site may link to third party websites, including social media and our payment provider. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any linked site.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site to: violate any law or regulation; infringe our intellectual property or that of others; harass, abuse, or harm another person; submit false or misleading information; upload viruses or malicious code; or interfere with the security of the Site.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Site and all products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TROVE by SGD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TROVE by SGD, its owners and partners from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above; continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the updated Terms.
